Law 25, Protection of Personal Information

Privacy and Personal Information Protection Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. Who we are

ADUX Stratégies inc. ("ADUX") is an independent multidisciplinary team specialized in digital advertising and customer experience, established in Scott (Quebec). This policy, which consolidates and replaces our previous privacy and personal information protection policies, describes how we collect, use, communicate and protect your personal information, whether you are a visitor to our site, a prospect or a client, in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (including the amendments introduced by Law 25). It also presents, in simple and clear terms, the key elements of our personal information governance policies and practices, as required by section 3.2 of that Act.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide to us. When you fill out a contact or quote form on this site, we collect: your company name, your name, your phone number and your email address, as well as the service for which you are requesting a quote.

Information collected automatically (cookies). Only with your consent, we use audience-measurement and marketing cookies through Google Tag Manager and its associated tags (e.g. Google Analytics, Google advertising tracking). These tools may collect data such as pages visited, visit duration, device type and browsing identifiers. No non-essential cookie is activated before your explicit consent.

Information processed as part of our mandates. When we manage your advertising accounts, your customer review tools (Feedbaak), your virtual receptionist (ADEL) or your training programs, we may have access to personal information belonging to your business (your customers' contact details, call recordings or transcripts, reviews, conversion data). We then act as a service provider: this information remains yours, is used only to carry out the mandate and is protected with the same rigour.

3. Purposes of use

We do not use your contact information to subscribe you to a newsletter without your consent, and we never sell your personal information.

4. Consent and withdrawal

When the site first loads, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored on your device. You can change it at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser's browsing data.

Declining does not limit your access: the site remains fully functional without measurement or marketing cookies.

5. Communication to third parties

Your information may be processed by the following service providers, only to the extent necessary for the purposes described above:

Some of these providers are located outside Quebec, notably in the United States. Your information may therefore be communicated outside Quebec, where it benefits from appropriate contractual and technical protection. Any communication of personal information outside Quebec is subject to a privacy impact assessment (PIA), in accordance with Law 25.

6. Retention, destruction and security

We apply personal information retention and destruction rules: each category of information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or to meet our legal obligations (notably tax and contractual). Once these purposes are fulfilled, the information is securely destroyed or anonymized according to best practices. Our security measures include technical means (authentication-protected access, certified providers), organizational means (access limited to those who need it as part of their duties) and contractual means (confidentiality commitments).

7. Internal governance: roles and responsibilities

The protection of personal information is governed throughout its life cycle, collection, use, communication, retention and destruction:

8. Your rights

In accordance with the law, you may at any time: request access to the personal information we hold about you, request its rectification, withdraw your consent to its use or communication, and request that its dissemination cease. To exercise these rights, contact our person in charge of the protection of personal information (section 11). We will respond within 30 days.

9. Complaint handling

Anyone may file a complaint about our personal information protection practices by writing to our person in charge (section 11), describing the situation and the information concerned. The complaint is examined diligently: we acknowledge receipt, assess it impartially and send a written response within 30 days of receiving all the information necessary to process it. If the response does not satisfy you, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

10. Confidentiality incident

In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec as well as the persons concerned, in accordance with the law, and take reasonable measures to reduce the risks.

11. Person in charge of the protection of personal information

The person in charge of the protection of personal information at ADUX Stratégies inc. is:
